“Reverberations” is a story that had been in the back of my mind for a long time.  I found myself wondering what the realms described the Elder Scrolls games were like many centuries after the events described in the games, in a time more or less contemporary to our own.  The idea of a minor bureaucrat being tormented by some ancient hero’s unfinished business kind of intrigued me, and the idea eventually developed into a lighthearted romance that was lots of fun to write.

The other fun thing I got to do was use some old photos I had lying around.  The shots of contemporary Tamriel were mostly from my personal collection, taken over the years during family vacations and such.  Who knew that Solitude viewed from the air looked a lot like Toronto, or that the main character’s neighborhood resembled Georgetown?
