This is an attempt at fan fiction. Along with reading fantasy, I enjoy fantasy gaming. Those familiar with the Elder Scrolls series know that these games have large modder communities. Many of the available mods are for player companions or followers. While some of the companion/follower mods have extensive backstories, a lot of them are kind of bare-bones. This story takes place in the Skyrim universe, and is an attempt to explain how and why a particular young woman found her way to the rugged Skyrim province.
